Charlotte Preskill, beloved wife of Richard for 70 years; loving mother of James (Jane Maglina), Sue (William) Kanter, and Barb. Devoted grandmother of Donna, Jennifer (Jeff) Speno, Sharon (Danny Leisner), Margo, Steven (Gail), and David Kanter. Adoring “GiGi” of Andrew and Matthew Plachcinski. She was a generous friend and wonderful women. Chapel service Thursday, August 18 at 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. We loved Char and meeting her and Dick in China was a truly fortunate part of our trip. Over the last 10 years we have enjoyed spending time together over dinners, games, and lectures. We will miss her so much and send our deepest sympathy to Dick and the rest of the family.
